Background and how the service works

Construction Reduction was lauched in 2010 by myself, Patrick Halton as a solution to the problem which I came across daily as a carpenter. Construction Reduction is my brainchild.

ConstructionReduction.ie is a site that makes life easier for all people involved in maintenance or construction work including the general public, service and builders' providers as well as tradesmen.

We have three main sections aimed at the following categories:

1. General Public
2. Material Providers/Hire
3. Builders and Tradesmen

Below is a step -by-step guide for each category.

General Public

Whether you require the best value materials, competitively-priced services or quotes from skilled builders or tradesman, ConstructionReduction.ie is the only web site you need!

For Builders or Tradesmen:

1. Simply go to our General Public page
2. Select 'Request Quote' in the Builders/Tradesmen section
3. Just fill out your builders or tradesmen request and click submit!

Our web site will then match your request with skilled builders or tradesman in your area. The first 4 builders or tradesmen who respond to your request will have the opportunity to quote for the work.

Each of these builders or tradesmen will contact you to provide you with a quote and you are then free to select the tradesman of your choice.

For Materials or Hire:

1. Simply go to our General Public page
2. Select 'Request Quote' in the Materials/Hire section
3. Just fill out your materials or hire request and click submit!

Our web site will match your request for materials or hire services to relevant suppliers in your area. All these suppliers will have the opportunity to submit a quote for your request.

Material Providers/Hire

ConstructionReduction.ie can deliver requests for quote from both tradesmen and the general public alike.

Availing of this service is easy:

1. Simply go to Material Providers/Hire
2. Fill out your details along with the materials/services you wish to quote for as well as the geographical areas you are happy to service
3. Select a username and password to be used for your ConstructionReduction.ie account and click submit!

Our web site will then email you any request for quote that matches your profile along with the relevant contact details of the person requesting the work.

Builders & Tradesmen

ConstructionReduction.ie can deliver requests for quote from other builders and tradesmen as well as the general public.

Availing of this service is easy:

1. Simply go to Builders & Tradesmen
2. Fill out your details along with the services you wish to quote for as well as the geographical areas you are happy to service
3. Select a username and password to be used for your ConstructionReduction.ie account and click submit!

Our web site will then send you any job lead that matches your profile direct to your mobile phone.

If you wish you quote for a job, simply text back 'JOB' along with the job number. The first 4 builders or tradesmen who confirm their interest will receive the full contact details of the person requesting the work.
